| Shortly after it began in 1980, CPS was joined by 25 independent hardware stores known as Hardware 25. This group was the foundation for what is today the MAKIT group.
Made up of 23 proudly independent businesses, MAKIT has been serving the WA community for over 3 decades. Many members of the group have significant trade and rural orientated aspects to their businesses and all members consider themselves to be broad based general hardware retailers. Members enjoy the benefits of buying power, plus the advantage of powerful and effective brand awareness advertising, and a multi-faceted product promotional program. |
